NOMINATE A LEADER for LDC 2017-2018

These individuals should be readily available to meet the obligations of participation,
and should exhibit an interest and commitment to the Douglas County community. 
A message to Alumni: as an important leader in Douglas County, you are aware of members and employees
within organizations who should consider the LDC application process for 2017-2018.

As you know, Leadership Douglas County has been serving our communities since 1999, helping leaders build strong connections across private, public and nonprofit sectors. Many recognizable faces can be seen across the county civically engaged and actively involved in the regional issues shaping our community.

Here are some ways that you can help:

  • Application – Share the link to the LDC Class of 2018 Application. The deadline for submission is June 20.
  • Spread the word – via your community newsletter/e-news/blast:    Leadership Douglas County, a program of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, is committed to ensuring the continuity of knowledgeable and effective leadership in Douglas County. Today, Douglas County is virtually the geographic center of Colorado and provides an enviable blend of quality lifestyle and business environment. Established in 1999, Leadership Douglas County (LDC) was created to ensure that our community would continue to identify, educate, and motivate current and emerging leaders to improve Douglas County through personal and collective commitment. LDC seeks motivated, capable men and women from diverse professional backgrounds and supports best practices in setting standards of excellence.   • Provide a recommendation – applicants need to provide two letters of recommendation with their application
  • Social Gatherings/Meetings – LDC has alumni who can attend your event and provide a brief presentation on the program. Contact us below.

  • Handouts – we have postcards/flyers available to distribute in mailings and for meetings
